Fencing
A fence is only as good as its posts. We set posts at the right depth for the site, keep lines straight and heights consistent, and work neatly around existing trees and hedges. Replacing a fence after a hedge removal is a common combined job.
Turfing
New turf needs a well-prepared, level base to root properly. After a clearance or stump grinding, we prepare the ground so the new lawn sits flat and drains well. We advise on aftercare so it establishes quickly.
Planning the garden around the trees
Because we are tree surgeons first, we look at a garden differently from a general landscaper. We check how existing trees will affect a new lawn or border: the shade they cast, the roots running under the surface and the leaf fall each autumn. A lawn laid under a dense crown will struggle; a fence line run straight through a root plate will need posts placed carefully. Planning for this at the start avoids problems a year or two later.
